Wegner named children’s reporter at The Tennessean

Rachel Wegner

Rachel Wegner, a breaking news reporter at The Tennessean in Nashville, has been appointed to the post of children’s reporter to cover education, health and welfare, among other topics.

Wegner joined in September 2018 as a digital producer. Previously, she interned at Education Week.

Wegner has a bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
