Julie Mehegan has been promoted to executive producer of Chronicle, a newsmagazine TV show produced by WCVB-TV Ch. 5, a Hearst Television owned and an ABC-affiliated TV station in Boston. Previously, she had been serving as the show’s managing director.
She joined Chronicle as a managing editor in 2019. Prior to that, she served as a senior communications director in the executive office for administration and finance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
She has also held an editorial role at The Boston Herald and has reported and written for The Sun in Lowell. She has also edited and reported for weeklies on the South Shore.
