WBZ assignment editor Andrews departs for public affairs firm

Shelly Andrews

Shelly Andrews, an assignment editor at WBZ-TV, a CBS-owned-and-operated TV station in Boston, has left and joined Benchmark Strategies, a public affairs firm in Boston as a public relations associate.

She previously worked at Tribune Media for over 4 years, where she held the posts of assignment editor and senior editor. She has also taught broadcast journalism at UMFS, a nonprofit organization in Richmond, VA.

Andrews has a B.A. in broadcast journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University.
