Jack Lepiarz, a journalist at WBUR-FM 90.9, has left after more than 12 years. His tweet reads:
“I came into the station as a bright-eyed, 21-year-old intern and over the years, had the privilege to cover some of the most important stories in Massachusetts.
“But a year without performing during the pandemic reminded me that, at heart, I am a circus kid. The first 6 years of my life were spent on a circus lot and I’ve been performing since before I knew how to tie my shoes.
“So, before I get too long winded — thanks for listening all these years on WBUR (and even on WERS!).”
Lepiarz has a B.S. in broadcast journalism from Emerson College.
