DC Thomson has tapped Poppy Joy Watson to serve as a features writer for The Courier. Recently, she held the post of live news reporter for thecourier.co.uk, The Courier and the Evening Telegraph.
Watson was also a journalist and events researcher at the media platform FutureScot, where she covered the latest innovation news in education, cyber, health, justice, data and AI. She also gained work experience at the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail, and DC Thomson.
She was a student journalist at The Tab.
Watson graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and is an NCTJ-certified journalist.
