Washington State Standard hires Deng as reporter

Grace Deng

Washington State Standard, a new nonprofit outlet part of the States Newsroom family, has tapped Grace Deng to serve as a reporter. Recently, she was a reporter at BringMeTheNews and an intern at States Newsroom.

Previously, Deng was an editorial fellow at Washingtonian Magazine and interned at Gannett | USA Today Network.

She held the posts of politics section editor, assistant managing editor, managing editor and executive editor at North by Northwestern, an independent online and print magazine publication at Northwestern University.
