Washington Post video team honored with Murrow award for overall excellence

The Washington Post video team has been awarded the 2020 National Edward R. Murrow Award for overall excellence from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).

The Murrows are among the top awards in digital journalism, and the “Overall Excellence Award” is given to news organizations who showcase a high standard of quality in video journalism to their audience.

The judges wrote that the Post “has done an incredible job of staying relevant by bringing news to wherever their readers are.”
