Washington Post taps Worth as multiplatform editor

The following excerpt announcement was sent out by The Washington Post’s multiplatform editorial manager Effie Dawson, multiplatform editor Tom Justice, multiplatform editing chief Courtney Kan, and multiplatform deputy editor Brian Cleveland:

We are delighted to announce that Mark Worth is joining The Post as a multiplatform editor in the News Service.

Mark comes to The Post from the Dallas Morning News, where he worked on zoned local coverage and SEO strategies during the pandemic.

Before that, he worked at the Miami Herald as a news editor, sports editor, community news editor and copy editor for investigative pieces. He also has worked at McClatchy and Knight Ridder.

Mark graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in journalism.
