The Washington Post has appointed Rushawn Walters as a full-time social editor. Previously, he has been working as a social media editor.
Before that, he was a newsroom initiative assistant, where he assisted with research, idea generation and admin tasks for high impact emerging tech projects and advertising-related tasks.
He has also served as a congressional reporter at the Howard University News Service and was managing editor of The Hilltop, Howard University’s student paper. He has also interned at WHUR 96.3 FM HD1.
Walters is a Howard University graduate.
