Washington Post taps Herszenhorn as Russia and Eastern Europe editor

David M. Herszenhorn

David M. Herszenhorn will join The Washington Post as Russia and Eastern Europe editor, based in Brussels. Herszenhorn will take full responsibility starting August 29.

Recently, he served as chief Brussels correspondent at Politico and previously was at The New York Times, where he worked as a reporter on the metropolitan desk, congressional correspondent, Moscow correspondent and Washington correspondent.

Herszenhorn has a B.S. from Dartmouth College.
