Washington Post taps Cramer as national political enterprise reporter

Ruby Cramer

The Washington Post has hired Ruby Cramer as national political enterprise reporter to helm the National desk’s long-form stories about the people and movements shaping American politics.

She begins on June 6.

Cramer joins from Politico Magazine, where she worked as a senior staff writer. Prior to that, she has worked at BuzzFeed for more than eight years, most recently serving as a senior politics reporter. She was also an intern and researcher for CBS Evening News.

Cramer has a B.A. in English from Vassar College.
