The Washington Post has appointed Kelsey Ables a breaking news reporter in Seoul. Ables covered weekend breaking news for Style and contributed to the Post’s arts coverage.
Previously, she worked remotely from Washington as a breaking news reporter for the Seoul team. She worked as a freelance writer and fact-checker for the Columbia Journalism Review, The Diplomat and Artsy, where she also interned.
As a Princeton in Asia fellow, she worked in Sri Lanka for the Daily News, a national English language newspaper.
Ables has a B.A. from Columbia University.
