The Washington Post has tapped Tim Elfrink as a deputy editor on the national politics enterprise and investigations team.
Previously, Elfrink was editor of Morning Mix at The Post. Prior to joining The Post, he was an investigative reporter and editor at the Miami New Times.
His work was recognized with a George Polk Award and with a place among the finalists for the Goldsmith Prize for Investigative Reporting, among other honors.
Elfrink is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
