The Washington Post has tapped Yasmeen Abutaleb as a White House reporter to cover President Biden and his administration.
Recently, Abutaleb served as a health policy reporter, focused on the government’s COVID-19 response, the Department of Health and Human Services, White House health policy and health care legislation on Capitol Hill.
Previously, she worked as a healthcare correspondent, technology correspondent and reporting trainee at Reuters. She was a health/science reporting intern at The Boston Globe. She also interned at USA Today.
Abutaleb graduated from the University of Maryland.
