The following excerpt announcement was sent out by the director of emerging news products Christopher Meighan, the editor of The Lily Neema Roshania Patel, and deputy editor Lena Felton:
We are thrilled to announce that Hannah Good is joining The Post as a multiplatform editor for The Lily.
Hannah comes to us from Washingtonian where, two weeks before the pandemic hit, she became the magazine’s sole social media producer. In the past year, she helped increase the magazine’s following, producing high-impact Instagram posts and informative Twitter threads. As multiplatform editor for The Lily, she will help expand our audience and reach, producing Lily stories across platforms and contributing to our award-winning newsletter, Lily Lines. Hannah is also a talented illustrator and comic artist, and we look forward to seeing how she helps shape The Lily’s Sunday comics feature.
Hannah graduated from Western Kentucky University, where she was editor in chief of the Talisman magazine.
Please join us in welcoming Hannah to The Post. Her first day is March 22.
We are thrilled to announce that Janay Kingsberry is joining The Post as a multiplatform editor for The Lily.
Janay comes to us from Politico, where she has been an engagement editor since 2019, working with reporters and editors to present their stories on various platforms. In her new role, she’ll help build loyalty among our audience on platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, as well as write and produce our award-winning newsletter, Lily Lines.
Before joining Politico, Janay worked for the Mercury News and the East Bay Times. Janay has also worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Savannah Morning News.
Janay is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. Please join us in welcoming Janay to The Post. Her first day is March 22.
