The Washington Post has tapped Sarah E. Frostenson to serve as a national deputy visual enterprise editor. Frostenson begins on Sept. 26.
An excerpt from the announcement reads:
In her new position, Sarah will oversee quick-turn coverage and projects that seek to convey information in visually compelling and innovative ways, collaborating with visual journalists across the newsroom.
Recently, Frostenson was a senior politics editor at FiveThirtyEight. She was a graphics editor at Politico and a graphics reporter at Vox.com.
She worked as a developer at Gannett Digital and was a data journalist at the Chronicle of Philanthropy and Chronicle of Higher Education.
Frostenson has a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
