Scott Weisenthal has been named head of the Washington Post Creative Group, a newly established team that includes WP BrandStudio, brand strategy, design and marketing operations.
Weisenthal’s team will focus on connecting the Post’s suite of unique storytelling and technology-led solutions to build programs and experiences that deliver business outcomes for brands.
Previously, Weisenthal oversaw the global creative and content strategy, and lead development and execution of marketing campaigns for Marriott International’s portfolio. He has also served as senior vice president of the content and innovation agency at NBCUniversal.
There, he was also a member of the NBCUniversal Marketing Council, Music Council and Symphony Council.
He was also co-founder of OffTheBookshelf.com and a senior copywriter at Gotham Inc.
Weisenthal is a graduate of Emory University.
