The Washington Post has hired Hope Corrigan as an editorial initiatives manager. As per the Post:
“Hope will work on new ways to proactively package, communicate and promote the newsroom’s most innovative, creative and ambitious coverage alongside our advertising, marketing and subscriptions teams.”
Corrigan joins from LinkedIn News, where she served as news editor – audience engagement and distribution. She freelances and her work has appeared in Slate, Quartz, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, The Guardian, The Washington Post, The Appeal, The Independent and more.
She also worked at Vice and the Lonely Planet in Oakland, Calif.
Corrigan graduated from Florida State University.
