Bill Scher, a political writer at the Washington Monthly, has been appointed politics editor. He also hosted the magazine’s history podcast “When America Worked” and served as co-host of the online show and podcast “The DMZ.”
Scher contributed to Politico and was a columnist at The Week.
Scher has a B.A. from Oberlin College.
