Washington Free Beacon makes two new hires

The Washington Free Beacon has hired Chuck Ross and Joe Simonson as senior investigative reporters.

Ross was previously a reporter at The Daily Caller News Foundation for more than 7 years, he has also worked as a financial analyst at Citigroup Smith Barney.

Simonson was previously a reporter at The Washington Examiner. He has also worked as a media reporter/critic at The Daily Caller News Foundation. He was also a reporter/writer at Heat Street and was an editorial page assistant at New York Post.

He was also editor-in-chief at Enquiry Weekly and a production intern at The Blaze.

Simonson is a graduate of Hamilton College.
