Washington Examiner hires Irvine as news editor

Chris Irvine

Chris Irvine will be joining The Washington Examiner as a news editor, reports Politico.

Previously, he was senior news editor at Fox News managing the daily domestic and international news output among other tasks. He has also served as U.S. associate editor at DailyMail.com and was deputy foreign editor at MailOnline.

Irvine has also worked at Telegraph Media Group for more than 6 years, joining as part of a graduate training scheme. He was later promoted to the post of reporter at the news desk and then served as assistant foreign editor of The Daily Telegraph.

Irvine is a graduate of St. Andrews University.
