WaPo’s Kornfield moves to national politics team

Meryl Kornfield

Meryl Kornfield, a reporter on The Washington Post’s general assignment team, will join the national politics team as a campaign trail reporter.

Kornfield joined the Post in 2019 as an intern. Currently, she is filling in on the White House team before joining the campaign trail this fall. Previously, she interned at the Investigative Reporting Workshop and the Sun Sentinel Media Group.

Kornfield graduated from the University of Florida, where she edited the student newspaper, The Independent Florida Alligator.
