Lillian Barkley will rejoin The Washington Post as Opinions audience strategy editor. She will join from Grid, where she joined in January 2022 as a copy editor.
Previously, Barkley worked at The Washington Post from June 2019 to October 2021, holding the posts of multiplatform editing intern for editorial and multiplatform editor. She was a fellow at Insider and interned at the Chicago Tribune, The New York Times and Seventeen Magazine.
Barkley has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper.
