The Washington Post has promoted Mili Mitra to director of audience from her current post of deputy director of audience strategy, Opinions. She will continue to contribute to the editorial board.
Mitra joined the Post in June 2018 as an editorial intern. Later, she held the posts of digital producer and global opinions editor.
Previously, she edited content and managed a team of 12 to 15 writers in the world section for the website Brown Political Review. There, she also worked as a senior staff writer.
Mitra graduated from Brown University.
