Wadington joins The Hill as deputy managing editor

Katie Wadington

The Hill has appointed Katie Wadington to the post of deputy managing editor. Recently, Katie Wadington served as Washington editor for breaking news and planning for USA Today.

There, she held the posts of fact check editor and Politics NOW editor. She spent more than 15 years at The Asheville Citizen Times, holding various posts, including copy editor, assignment editor, news editor and news director.

She held editorial roles at the Chicago Sun-Times, the Daily Herald and the Wisconsin State Journal.

She interned at Dow Jones News Fund.

Wadington has a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
