W Magazine hires Velasco as news staff writer

Matthew Velasco

Matthew Velasco has joined New York-based fashion magazine W as a staff writer for news. Recently, he was an editorial contributor to beauty and grooming at CNN.

Previously, Velasco worked as an editorial contributor and associate editor for print at fashion magazine V in New York. He interned at Paper Communications and The Wall Street Journal.

Velasco graduated from The New School in New York City.
