One of the leading companies on editorial properties, tech and advertising, Vox Media, is aiming to expand its podcast business coverage this year. According to reports, the media company is directing its efforts to reach $20 million plus podcast business in 2020.
As of now, the Vox Media Podcast Network generates more than $10 million annually in revenue from a roster of over 200 shows. These shows are spread over Vox’s 14 brands, including those produced with partners.
Overall, Vox Media has worked with more than 100 different podcast advertisers in 2019. This year, president of Vox Media Studios Marty Moe expects the number to grow even more. However, he did not disclose the actual revenue figures associated with the podcast expansion.
