Richard Alblas, a special sections editor at The Daily Progress, a newspaper in Charlottesville, Va., is set to depart. He wrote on X/Twitter:
“After seven years and five months, this week will be my last at The Daily Progress. I’m very excited about what’s next (more to come on that later), but can’t help but look back for just a moment.”
Alblas joined in May 2016 as a publisher’s assistant. He freelanced and was a journalist at Rotterdams Dagblad, a daily newspaper in Rotterdam.
Alblas graduated from Hogeschool Utrecht, a university in Netherlands.
