Villa returns to BuzzFeed as national political reporter

Lissandra Villa

BuzzFeed welcomes back Lissandra Villa as a national political reporter.

She was previously with BuzzFeed working as a general assignment political reporter from October 2016 to April 2019.

In 2019, she left BuzzFeed to join Time as a staff writer. She worked there for 2 years and is now returning.

She was also an election desk intern at NPR and a reporting intern at Time Magazine, The Des Moines Register, and The Gazette Company.

Villa holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Iowa State University.
