Vice Media is in plans to restart its sale process after bidders had initially backed out at the previous price tag. According to people familiar with the matter, Vice, which was valued at $5.7 billion in 2017, is now likely to fetch a price of below $1 billion.
Initially, the digital media company had been aiming for a valuation between $1 billion and $1.5 billion.
As per CNN, a Vice Media spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
