Vice News has tapped Alastair McCready to serve as APAC editor. Recently, he held the post of Southeast Asia editor.
McCready is based in Thailand. Previously, he served as editor at large of Southeast Asia Global, where he also served as editor in chief, managing staff writers based across Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore.
He was also chief sub-editor at Phnom Penh Post.
McCready has a B.A. from the University of Manchester and a MSc. from SOAS University of London.
