Trey Strange, a show writer who wrote and edited scripts for “Vice News Tonight” has been laid off. His tweet reads:
“I have been laid off in the big one from @VICENews. i feel grateful for the job, & whatever opportunities await! A good time to say I’m writing a TV pilot and a collection of essays; am looking for rep in both & more. I’ve never had more ideas than right now!”
Strange freelanced for the Huffington Post, CNBC and New York Magazine’s Bedford + Bowery.
He interned at Out Magazine, CNBC, Houston Chronicle and Houstonia Magazine.
A Peabody and Emmy-winning writer/producer, Strange has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and a master’s degree from New York University. Currently, he is pursuing another masters degree from New York University as per his LinkedIn.
