USA Today has hired Zac Al-Khateeb as Big Ten/SEC topic editor. Recently, he was a digital content producer at The Sporting News.
Previously, Al-Khateeb covered local politics, businesses, sports and enterprise stories for The Daily Home, a newspaper in Alabama. He also interned at Alabama dailies The Anniston Star and The Tuscaloosa News.
Al-Khateeb has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Alabama, where he worked at the student newspaper The Crimson White.
