USA Today has promoted Sudiksha Kochi to fact-check reporter, researching and rating the accuracy of claims on digital platforms using programs such as CrowdTangle and Google Trends. Before that, she was a face-check fellow.
Kochi served as a staff writer and news editor at Fourth Estate, George Mason University’s student news outlet. She was also chosen as a fellow for the Society of Professional Journalists Conference and held the post of president with the Society of Professional Journalists, Fairfax County, Va. chapter.
