Lindsey Underwood will join The Washington Post as the Features department first breaking news editor.
As per the Post:
“She will lead a new team devoted to breaking news coverage in entertainment, fashion, media and politics within the Style section.”
Underwood begins March 27.
She joins the Post from The New York Times, where she started in October 2017 as an editor for “Smarter Living.” She was then a senior staff editor on Styles.
Previously, she worked at the Times from June 2015 to October 2016 as a social strategy editor. She was a social media director at Vogue and also held editorial roles at Slate Magazine.
Underwood graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
