The New York Times has hired Remy Tumin as a reporter on Express. She joined the Times in 2016 as a news assistant.
Since then, Tumin has worked on nearly every department, most recently on newsletters as the writer of the Evening Briefing. She started as a food columnist for The Hatchet, the newspaper at The George Washington University.
She worked on Martha’s Vineyard for four years at the Vineyard Gazette.
Tumin has a B.A. from The George Washington University.
