Tulsa World hires Young to cover the football beat

Mason Young

Mason Young has joined the Tulsa World to cover the football team Sooners. His tweet reads:

“I interned for the World in summer ‘21 as OU made way for and approved the SEC move. I’m thrilled to now chronicle the last year in the Big 12 and the SEC entry.”

Recently, Mason served as a sports enterprise reporter at The OU Daily, the University of Oklahoma’s student newspaper. There, he also held the posts of sports reporter, assistant sports editor and sports editor.

He also interned at the Detroit Free Press.

Young has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Oklahoma.
