New York Times Cooking has hired Milton Tookes Jr. as a post-production coordinator on the video team. As per the Times:
“In this new role, Milton will work alongside Gina Fernandez, our Production Coordinator, and Shanice Bland, our Video Operations Manager, to further develop workflow and bring new efficiency to our video production.
“He will create and track detailed post-production schedules, oversee a network of freelance editors and help keep up and manage our video archive.”
Prior to joining the Times, Tookes worked as a post production supervisor at .
He has also worked at ViacomCBS and ITV America.
Tookes has a B.S. in journalism and electronic media from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
