Tolentino departs Daily Dot for NBC News

Daysia Tolentino

NBC News has hired Daysia Tolentino as a reporter for its culture and trends team. Recently, she edited the “Creator Economy” newsletter at The Daily Dot.

Tolentino joined The Daily Dot as a freelancer in March 2021 and became part of the staff full-time in June 2021 as a newswire editor for weekends and evenings. She interned at KNBC-TV Ch. 4, an NBC flagship station in Los Angeles; Studio71; LP; and Boston Magazine.

Tolentino has a B.S. in journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
