Times Radio appoints McCann political editor

Kate McCann

Times Radio has hired Kate McCann as a political editor. She will begin in September.

Previously, McCann has worked as a senior political correspondent at The Telegraph, where she joined in September 2015. She also served as a Whitehall correspondent for The Sun at News UK and was a political correspondent at City A.M.

She was also a journalist at Guardian Group.

McCann graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
