John Simpson, a crime correspondent at The Times of London, will join The News Movement as senior correspondent, investigations. The News Movement was founded by William Lewis, former CEO of Dow Jones and publisher of The Wall Street Journal.

Simpson joined the Times in 2011 as a general reporter. Simpson adds:
“Saying goodbye to The Times after 11 amazing years was an unbelievably tough decision, but I’m so excited to be joining the team at The News Movement.”
Simpson has a B.A. from the University of Brighton and a M.A. from the University of Sussex.
