Ellie Philpotts has joined Times Higher Education in London as a rankings reporter, focused on news, interviews, features and analyses related to the global rankings aspect of the magazine and site.
Recently, Philpotts served as a features journalist at Pulse, the monthly magazine and site for GPs and other medical professionals.
In this role, she won “Best Scoop “and “Best Editorial Assistant” at the British Society of Magazine Editors Talent Awards 2021; a finalist nod for Newcomer of the Year at the Medical Journalism Awards; recognition by the Press Gazette for excellence in covering Covid-19; and “Highly Commended” also by the BSMEs.
She was the runner-up in the Telegraph’s Cassandra Jardine Memorial Prize.
Philpotts graduated from Cardiff University.
