Time hires Mendez as culture reporter

Moises Mendez

Moises Mendez will join Time as a culture reporter to cover internet culture, music, movies, TV and more. Mendez worked freelance, contributing to The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, Vice, Fast Company, HuffPost, Insider and the Daily Dot.

He was a digital culture fellow at Insider, where he wrote two to three news stories about influencers and celebrities.

Mendez has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Fordham University and an M.A. in journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
