Time executive editor Dan Macsai has been upped from his post of vice president, Time Events, to chief events officer.
Under Macsai’s leadership, more people have interacted with Time in person that at any other point in its history.
During his more than decade career at Time, he has held the posts of senior editor, assistant managing editor and editorial director for special projects.
Prior to joining Time, he was at Fast Company, where he served in the roles of reporter, assistant editor and staff editor. He also worked as a reporter at Bloomberg Businessweek.
Macsai has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
