Erin Tiernan, state politics reporter at The Boston Herald, will be joining MassLive. She was previously a reporter at The Patriot Ledger.
She was also a web producer at Metro Boston and was a writing editor at GateHouse Media. She has also worked as a local editor and field editor at Patch.com.
Tiernan has a B.A. in journalism and public relations from the University of Rhode Island.
