Matthew Thompson will join Sky News as a correspondent.
Recently, he was LBC senior reporter at Global.
He worked at BBC News for more than seven years, holding various roles, including broadcast journalist and news correspondent. He was also a market researcher at PwC.
Thompson has a M.A. from the University of Cambridge.
