Thomas takes on new role at Channel 4

Janine Thomas

Channel 4 has appointed Janine Thomas as commissioning editor for current affairs at the youth strand “Untold.” She graduates from her recent post as commissioning editor for documentaries.

Previously, Thomas worked at Channel 4 from September 2014 to February 2021. During this time, she held the posts of genre assistant for formats, daytime, music and education; program coordinator for documentaries; and assistant editor for documentaries.

In March 2021, she joined Sky News as an assistant commissioning editor.

Thomas has a B.A. from the University of Manchester.
