The Week national correspondent Cooper set to depart

Ryan Cooper

Ryan Cooper will be joining The American Prospect as managing editor. Currently, he is a national correspondent at The Week, where he has worked for 8 years.

His writing has also appeared in The Washington Monthly, The Nation, The Washington Post, Mother Jones, The New Republic, and others. He has also served in the Peace Corps in South Africa from 2009 to 2011.

He is a co-host and producer of the Left Anchor podcast which talks about various topics, including politics, philosophy, history and current events.

Cooper graduated from Reed College.
