Alistair Dawber has moved to the U.S. as the new Washington correspondent for The Times. Previously, he held the post of assistant foreign news editor.
He has also worked as a freelance foreign correspondent and was at The Independent for more than 6 years, joining as a business correspondent. He then served as a deputy foreign editor and then foreign editor.
He then became a Jerusalem correspondent and was then again named foreign editor.
He has also worked at EuroWeek as a reporter/editor.
Dawber is a M.A. in law from the University of Cambridge.
