The Telegraph appoints Ross deputy editor of features and lifestyle

Charlotte Ross will join The Telegraph as deputy editor of features and lifestyle, responsible for the magazine, travel, fashion, culture and the daily features section.

Ross begins in November.

Ross will join from the Evening Standard, where she worked for the last 16 years, recently as acting editor. Before that, she served as publisher. She also held the posts of deputy editor and executive editor.

She was an assistant editor at The Independent, The Scotsman and The Sunday Herald.

Ross said:

“I’m thrilled to join such a talented team and look forward to continuing the exciting transformation of this truly quality news brand alongside them.”

Ross graduated from the University of Glasgow.
